Facebook Style Chatbar Integrated

I have now added a Facebook style chat bar to the footer of countdowntowin.com. I searched high and low for the right chat bar. I tried many free services such as BumpIn, Conduit, Footerchat, and some others but they all seemed like they just weren't quite right. They lacked features that I wanted or they had features that I didn't want. I was really just trying to find a Facebook style chat bar. I wanted something simple, functional and I also wanted one that would reside on my server so I would have complete control of it.

After scouring google search after google search I finally found Cometchat! I don't even mind advertising for them by posting this because Cometchat was exactly what I was looking for; a simple, clean chat bar that functions great and would be hosted on my server and of course it resembles Facebook's chat bar.

I mean if that thing doesn't look clean to you I don't know what will.

Cometchat isn't free but I can see why. You can't develop a product this good and just give it away. However, it is cheap. They actually have three prices to choose from with the base price being $49. The chat bar is actually really fast too and so far it doesn't seem to bog down the server. I guess I will find out what happens once hundreds if not thousands of members are logged on at the same time. Anyway I hope that the members of Countdown To Win will find this chat bar to be extremely usefull and I also hope that it will keep people on the site longer. :)

Why is this the third post about Countdown To Win?

I said in the very beginning that I would talk about and show exactly what I am doing to become an internet mogul. I want people to be able to see this post a year from now and see what I did to get Countdown To Win to become so big. (This is assuming it is going to be very big a year from now. Why wouldn't it be? haha) See, I'm actually thinking about the future audience of this site and writing content for them. Or should I say content for you since you are reading this right now.

So in short you can expect to see more posts about countdowntowin.com and any other projects I am working on. That's what this site is about; how I'm going to build an internet empire so I need to show you what I'm doing and what I have done.
